A spitsculpt (45 minute sculpt) of a raggedy old Blackbeard. The theme was 'deathbeard' and I interpreted it as an aging old pirate past his prime waiting to die as his infamous black beard turns grey. Had a really good time with this one. I looked at baroque sculpture for inspiration of the beard, and applied some asymmetry so the sculpt would look more natural.
