Watercolour portrait practice

Decided to paint some watercolour portraits. Overall I think watercolour is fantastic. By layering the paints with varying wetnesses of the brush one can create a really coherent and detailed piece. The piece is of Johnny Depp from Public Enemies, one of my favourite films. The whole process from sketching took about 3 hours, I'm still a little unhappy about the eye.. Something went wrong during the painting process. Overall, though this was a great way to practice watercolours, portraits and some decently harsh lighting.
